THE DIFFERENT WAYS OF FINANCIALLY SUPPORTING OUR PARISH

We are indeed blessed by all who so generously give each week to the Parish through their contributions, however that may be – cash or cashless.

The planned giving program allows us to budget for the day to day running of our parish and of course to put funds aside for future works. For those who haven’t considered being part of the actual planned giving program, there are a variety of ways to so:

  • Envelopes: A set of 52 envelopes for both First and Second Collection are provided in September each year. The Envelopes are numbered, and your giving is recorded against your number. We ask that you mark the amount of giving on the front of the envelope in the space provided. This helps our counting teams with their weekly task.

  • Direct Debit from your Bank Account: You can choose to give to both/either First or Second Collections using this method. The amount/s you nominate can be debited from your account either fortnightly or monthly. A Direct Debit Request Form needs to be filled out and forwarded to ADF. Each contributor is given a number and amounts are recorded against this number.

  • Recurrent Payment using Credit Card: This method is also available for First and Second Collections.  It is manually processed at the end of each month through the Commonwealth Bank. Using this method requires you to complete a new form each time you are issued with a new card. Each contributor is given a number and amounts are recorded against this number.

  • Electronic Transfer to a Parish Bank Account: Using internet banking parishioners transfer money directly to the Parish Bank Account either weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually or at your discretion.  An email is requested when you start this process to let the office know how you would like your giving distributed. Each giver is provided with a number and all contributions are recorded against that number.

  • Parish Giving App: An App which is downloaded from your App Store to your mobile phone. Select your Parish and create a one-off gift or set up a recurring gift using one of your cards. Our givers using this app can contact the office if they require their gift to be recorded.

  • The EFTPOS machines at the entrances to our Little Flower and St Peter’s churches.
